We’re always looking for the next best skincare product, and we think we might have found it. While several beauty brands have released their own versions of pimple patches, Peace Out launched one of the first anti-wrinkle microneedling patches in December 2019 — and they sold out within a few days. Now on Sephora, they’ve already gained over 25,000 “loves” and 440 reviews by customers.

Peace Out Wrinkles patches each contain 450 self-dissolving hyaluronic acid microneedles that according to the product description, “create tiny pathways for age-fighting ingredients.” Those ingredients include retinol, vitamin C and peptides, used to help reduce crow’s feet, smile lines, forehead wrinkles and more.

Retinol, a type of retinoid, increases cell turn over. This exfoliates clogged pores and reduces the appearance of fine lines, and can be great for treating wrinkles and adult acne, according to the American Dermatology Association.

To use the Peace Out Wrinkles patches, gently press the patch for five to 10 seconds onto clean, dry skin. You should wear it for at least six hours or overnight. The brand recommends using the patches twice weekly for at least two weeks to see a real difference (aka, smoother-looking skin!).

While the patches have 4.2 out of 5 stars on Sephora, with 84 percent of customers saying they would recommend the product, the biggest complaint by far is the price. Peace Out Wrinkles patches cost $28 for a 6-pack. While admittedly that is a bit steep — a little over $4 per patch — it’s much cheaper than other popular retinoid skincare products.

“These patches are amazing! I noticed a difference in my smile lines after one use. There are only six per package, but they are worth it,” wrote one Sephora customer in a review.

Another customer wrote in their review: “I tried these on a whim, and I am so glad I did. I have one vertical line between my eyebrows. I have not had botox in over two years and decided to try these before I went back for more. My first try it stayed in place all night. After removing my line was definitely plumped and much less noticeable. I will definitely repurchase.”

“I normally don’t write reviews but after using this product I felt compelled to. You will notice the difference after a couple of times. It’s not Botox but you will see results,” wrote another.

In a 2-week consumer study done by Peace Out, 70 percent of users said that their wrinkles and fine lines were less noticeable, and 70 percent also thought that the patches worked faster than anything else they’ve tried.

Given the price combined with the swiftness of the results, this makes the Peace Out Wrinkles patches great for special events or to sprinkle in to your beauty routine when you need a little smoothing.
