It’s very rare that Apple products go on sale, and even more rare for a new laptop to drop in price. However, Amazon is currently offering $300 off the newest 13-inch MacBook Air.

The laptop normally retails for $1,299, but now through Feb. 27 until 3 a.m. EST, you can snag the silver version for only $999. (It also comes in gold and space gray colors, but those are on sale for only up to 8 percent off.)

The latest MacBook Air has a few upgrades to the older versions. First, it’s thinner and lighter (only 2.75 pounds!). It has all-day battery life. Plus, it has a 13-inch screen with retina display and true tone technology, Touch ID (for easier logging in), a Force Touch trackpad and the most up-to-date keyboard.

One of the most notable features, however, is that the laptop is created from 100 percent recycled aluminum, “making it the greenest Mac ever,” according to Apple’s product description.

Some other good specs to know: This MacBook Air has 256 GB of storage and 8GB of memory to save all of your photos, videos, documents and apps, while also letting you work quickly and seamlessly, even with multiple tabs open. It also has stereo speakers with wider stereo sound than other models — great for listening to music, gaming and watching movies.
