Robert Pattinson is the ‘most handsome man’ in the world, according to ... science
We’ve just crossed over into The Twilight Zone.
Science has deemed Robert Pattinson is the world’s “most handsome man.”
According to The Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi, a mathematical formula that was previously used to proclaim Bella Hadid is the “most beautiful woman in the world,” the “Twilight” heartthrob’s facial symmetry and other attributes tip the scales in his favor.
He beat out other coveted cover boys, including Brad Pitt, Idris Elba and Ryan Gosling.
The British actor’s eyebrows, eyes, jaw, nose, lips and general facial shape were compared to his celebrity counterparts, using an ancient technique artist have used to determine beauty since antiquity.
Based on these facial stats, an algorithm assigns a numerical value to a person’s attractiveness. At 92.15%, Pattinson topped the rest.
“Superman” star – and fellow Brit — Henry Cavill came in second scoring 91.64%.
Oscar and Grammy Award winner Bradley Cooper logged 91.08%, while Brad Pitt was at 90.51%, and George Clooney rounded out the top five with 89.91%.
Hugh Jackman scored 89.64%, David Beckham 88.965%. Idris Elba received an 88.01%, Kanye West 87.94%, and Ryan Gosling, 87.48%.

According to Yahoo!, the list was compiled using the latest computerized mapping techniques by Harley Street facial cosmetic surgeon Julian De Silva, who utilizes the technology in his work.
“Robert Pattinson was the clear winner when all elements of the face were measured for physical perfection,” De Silva, who runs the Centre For Advanced Facial Cosmetic And Plastic Surgery, in London, said.
“These brand new computer mapping techniques allow us to solve some of the mysteries of what it is that makes someone physically beautiful and the technology is useful when planning patients' surgery.”
By the way, Hadid’s percentage was 94.35%.
