Demi Lovato made an emotional return to the stage at the 2020 Grammys on Sunday, Jan. 26, debuting her newest track "Anyone" to a standing ovation.

"What an unbelievable night. My first time back on stage in almost 2 years. So emotional for me. Thank you all for the love, support and for sharing this moment with me. I love you all. 💗" Demi captioned a post on Instagram.

For her performance, the star stood on a small round stage with a piano accompanist and wore a white long-sleeve gown by Christian Siriano with simple, textured waves in her hair. While the dress may be hard to replicate (and even harder to find somewhere to wear it), her hairstyle is simple enough that you could do it in the morning before work.

Lovato's hairstylist, Paul Norton, revealed the steps and all of the IGK products he used to achieve her effortlessly glam look.

How to get Demi Lovato's wavy tresses:

First, start with clean, damp hair and apply THIRSTY GIRL Anti-Frizz Coconut Milk Leave-In Conditioner, brushing it through with a paddle brush. The leave-in conditioner can help protect hair from heat damage and frizz.

Next, spray BEACH CLUB Volumizing Texture Spray about two inches away from your hair. This will give your hair some volume and texture, as if you just emerged from the ocean like Ariel herself! Spray it all over, from roots to ends, and tousle your hair by gently lifting it at the root until it's nearly dry.

Next, beginning at the nape of the neck and gently moving up, use a boar brush to brush hair, then blow dry it completely.

Once hair is dry, use a 1-inch flatiron to create loose waves. To do this, you should gently twist your wrist as you move straightener down each section of hair and leaving out the ends, starting with the back of the head and moving towards the front. For a more organic look, in between sections, you can also use a 1-inch curling iron to create more defined waves.

After curling your hair, use a couple pumps of CRYBABY Anti-Frizz Smoothing Serum. Apply the serum to your hair with your hands about mid-strand and down. Make sure to cover the ends of hair for a frizz-free look!
