Banana Republic is expanding its inclusive range of nude necessities in shades that match or complement every skin tone. The expanded line, which they call True Hues, officially launched on Tuesday, Jan. 21 in stores and online with new bodysuits, camisoles, shoes, lingerie and dresses all under $129.

The original collection launched during Diversity Month last April as a result of Gap Inc.'s first product inclusion initiative called the Color Proud Council, which works with each of the Gap Inc. brands to improve its products, as well as talent acquisition and retention. The expanded collection goes beyond the traditional cami, however, and includes items for wearing to work or on a night out.

We especially love the satin midi slip dress, which comes in two styles — a cowl neck and v-neck. Both retail for $129 and collectively come in five different shades. Pair it with a leather jacket and strappy sandals or on a colder day, layer over a fitted turtleneck with booties.

Banana Republic's Madison 12-Hour Pump is also a staple in our wardrobes for its comfortable wear and versatility. It comes in five nude-based shades, as well as statement-making colors like neon pink patent leather, green suede and faux snakeskin. The shoe retails for $118 to $128 depending on the shade, but for a limited time, you can get select shades for $59.

Of course, one obvious and major comparison to the True Hues collection is Kim Kardashian's SKIMS brand, which makes "shape enhancing undergarments," as well as loungewear and sleepwear in a large variety of shades. Kardashian's brand has become a cult-like favorite, with each collection selling out within hours of launching, including its latest line of bodysuits

But, within a world where being inclusive is necessary, Banana Republic is taking note. And while the collection could still use a few more shades, starting with the basics is never a bad idea.
