First, let's break down some of those pockets. They include a full-size iPad pocket, hand warmer pockets, a sleeve storage pocket, a water bottle loop, an extendable key ring, a smartphone pocket, eyeglass pocket (with an attached chamois for cleaning them) and an earbud pocket with loops for holding them put as you wear them. There's also what the brand calls the MP3 player pocket and a camera pocket, but if you have a smartphone, you don't really need those. So, these are just two extra pockets.

One of the jacket's most toted features, however, is that is has an RFID protection blocking wallet pocket. RFID, which stands for radio frequency identification, uses electromagnetic fields to identify and track tags. Some believe that it's a security concern, in that modern day pick-pocketing could be done with a scanner to steal your information this way. Others say it's not a huge risk. If you're concerned, this jacket has a pocket for protecting your wallet and passport.

The travel jacket is also surprisingly light; it's made from a cotton and nylon blend and is treated with Teflon to repel water and stains. It's perfect for spring or fall weather, but if you get hot, you can zip off the sleeves to make it a vest.

One Amazon reviewer wrote, "Purchased this jacket for a trip to NYC and it worked out great. Placed all the items that I normally have to place in the TSA bin in the jacket and sent the jacket through the scanner. Felt very secure traveling around the city with my stuff in the zippered pockets."

"For such a thin jacket, this can surely trap body heat, without having the pockets all filled up. Pocket count is overwhelming but it is the perfect jacket for travel," wrote another Amazon reviewer, who said they plan to buy more in different colors.

"I hate purses," wrote another. "This jacket has a pocket for everything...and then some. Love the fit and feel of the fabric which seems to be water-repellent. Inner sleeve cuffs keep the sleeves from covering my hands. So well designed and well constructed."

The jacket is available in men's and women's sizes in black, beige and navy (also in red for men) for $175 on Amazon. (Note: This weekend the women's version is on sale at Sharper Image for $99!)
