It turns out that the Kardashian-approved secret to reducing the appearance of cellulite isn't tucked away in a Beverly Hills surgeon's practice, but rather it's available to shop online for $80.
Both Kourtney and Khloé reportedly swear by using the FasciaBlaster tool, and it's even made an appearance on their family's reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians in the past.
Just this week, Kourtney's lifestyle website Poosh shared a feature on how to reduce dimpled skin using the gadget. Thanks to endorsement from the famous sisters, it comes as no surprise that the FasciaBlaser brand has become one of the top 100 fastest growing companies in the country and business has boomed by over 8,000 percent.
So, what exactly is it?
FasciaBlaster creator Ashley Black told InTheKnow.com that her tool not only temporarily reduces the appearance of cellulite, but helps with circulation, muscle recovery and soreness.
"Remember that what we see at the surface when we refer to cellulite is a product of what’s happening below the surface in the layers of fascia (the collagen-based connective tissue).
Black continued, "Fascia is similar to the white cobweb-like tissue we see in meat, and we see it in different layers when we cut through it. Restoration is done most effectively little by little, one layer at a time."
Black thus recommends using the FasciaBlaster for 10 minutes a day, four or five times a week.

"This is enough to see dramatic results in a particular area: Consistency is much more important than duration," she explained.
She added, "Don’t overthink it. Just grab the tool and use it on bare skin with oil, in a motion like scrubbing on an old washboard. Fascia loves to be massaged; so enjoy the process. Fascia also loves heat, so a few minutes in a hot shower or the sauna will give you even quicker results."
Black, whose background was in both engineering and fitness, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis (JRA) at a young age and was told she would need a wheelchair by age 25. However, she was determined to defy this prognosis.
A mixture of physical activity, stretching, and strength proved to be effective means of pain management and she ultimately ended up developing the FasciaBlaster to overcome the structural limitations in her own body.
A recent major study from the Cogent Medicine Journal found that restoring the body’s fascia with self-use tools like the FasciaBlaster temporarily reduces the appearance of cellulite, a condition that affects a whopping 85 percent of post‐pubertal females. Results showed smoothening of the skin’s texture, reduction in cellulite dimpling and subcutaneous fat tissue thickness and improved collagen remodeling of the skin.
Black also let InTheKnow in on her tried-and-tested tips for stopping cellulite in its tracks.
"Fascia is made of cells of the human body just like all other cells, so it likes what other cells like. Clean eating, hydration, electrolytes, flushing blood through it with exercise and heat, reducing stress, stretching and having good posture are key."
"Don't over exercise and pound the body with impact," she warned. "At the end of the day we need to treat our energetic body and physical body with as much love as possible. 'FasciaBlasting' is a beautiful way to practice self-care."
