If you're looking to upgrade your at-home gym this new year, any NordicTrack treadmill is a pretty safe bet. Everyone from beginners to experienced runners will find that the brand produces smooth running, quality treads, but today on Amazon, you can find four on sale — each over $300 off.

The NordicTrack T Series treadmills provide interactive personal training at a more affordable price than the commercial versions. Plus, they're a little smaller in size and less bulky, and fold up to make it easier to store at home. Comparing the NordicTrack T Series treadmills

The biggest differences between the treadmills is that the 9.5 S, 8.5 S and 7.5 S treads can go up to 12 mph, raise up to a 12 percent incline and feature a fan for cooling off. The 6.5 Si treadmill goes up to 10 mph, raises up to a 10 percent incline, doesn't have a fan and the belt is 5 inches shorter than the others.

The other major difference in machines is the touch screen size. The 9.5 S has a 14-inch touch screen, the 8.5 S has a 10-inch screen, the 7.5 S has a 7-inch screen and the 6.5 Si has a 10-inch screen. The screen is where personal trainers stream classes—each tread comes with a 1-year iFit subscription, which allows you to join over 1 million users in completing challenges and encouraging others on their achievements. You can even add your friends to encourage each other! Plus, you'll get access to over 16,000 classes to switch up your routine and help keep you motivated. Keep in mind, without an iFit subscription, there are still 50 included workout programs (20 workout programs on the 6.5 Si).

In a class, trainers have control over your speed, so no holding down the button while you're trying to amp up for a sprint or come down to a walk. However, the treads also have One Touch control for easy speed and incline changes on your own.

All versions of the T series also have FlexSelect cushioning, which allows you to soften the impact on your joints or switch to a real road-like running experience.

So, which one you should pick?

Which treadmill you pick is ultimately up to your needs. (Although, you should also consult with your doctor before trying any new or intense workout regimen.) For those looking to really sprint, a 7.5 S or higher is your best bet thanks to their 12 mph capabilities. For less experienced runners or joggers, the 6.5 Si might be just fine with 10 mph capabilities. However, if you prefer the biggest screen size, the 9.5 S is the way to go with its 14-inch touch screen.
