Calling all Amazon Echo lovers! There's a new smart device on the block: Meet the Echo Flex.

While you may have your Echo Dot in your office, an Echo Show in your kitchen and the original Echo in your living room, there are bound to be a few places in your home that aren't overly compatible with Alexa, Amazon's voice assistant -- that is, until now.

The Echo Flex is a plug-in mini smart speaker with Alexa technology that can pretty much make any space you want smart. Just plug it into any convenient outlet and you can ask Alexa to do everything from adding a task to your to-do list to checking the weather to making hands-free calls. Plus, you can "drop-in" on other rooms in your house with Echos like an intercom system and stop yelling up the stairs that dinner is ready.

Whether you want to pop an Echo Flex down the hall or in a guest bedroom, this little device can also help you to control all of your smart home products. If you have compatible smart lights, ask Alexa to turn them on in the morning or to dim them at night. If you have a compatible thermostat, ask Alexa to cool down the house at night.

If you are looking to add some security to your home, Amazon also says that you "can also enable Alexa Guard to get Smart Alerts if your Echo device detects the sound of smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, or glass breaking."

One happy reviewer shared that their favorite part (and a smart life hack) about the Echo Flex "is its size and convenience. It is an Echo. It doesn’t take a lot of counterspace which is always a plus. It also has a USB port underneath for adding attachments, I do not have any of those yet, but knowing that I liked the Flex so far, I might get the motion sensor attachment. If not, you can always use that port to charge your phone."

And to top it all off, the Echo Flex is just $25. Shop it above!
