And awards season is off to a very fashionable start!
The 77th annual Golden Globes were held on Sunday night in Los Angeles, bringing together the biggest stars in Hollywood to honor the best productions on film and television. Hosted for the fifth time by Ricky Gervais, it was an eventful night packed with politically-spun acceptance speeches and heated press rooms, but we have to say, the pre-show red carpet really raised the bar for the rest of this year's awards shows.
While stars like Gwyneth Paltrow and Kerry Washington took the "less is more" approach, we're more invested in all the glamorous and enchanting designer dresses that danced down the red carpet.
"Knives Out" star Ana de Armas sparkled in a glittery strapless Ralph and Russo creation, while Sofia Vergara was a total bombshell in maroon Dolce & Gabbana. Nicole Kidman and Scarlett Johansson twinned in spectacular red ballgowns as Rose Leslie from "Game of Thrones" dazzled in forest green Elie Saab.
However, it was Renée Zellweger's simple periwinkle Armani Prive creation, with its subtle diamond embellishments, that stole the show on this year's red carpet.
