Maren Morris' complete style transformation

Maren Morris may have only broken through on the country scene in 2016 with her single "My Church" and successful tour with Keith Urban, but her recent performance at last week's CMA's and mass reception to "The Middle" proved the 28-year-old is very much here to stay.

And her sartorial evolution proves that she's been ready for Hollywood.

Morris' style has moved on from leather cutoffs and bandeaus, instead welcoming red carpet-worthy gowns and edgy on-stage dress changes. Though the singer hasn't said goodbye to crop tops entirely, her recent style choices have proven she is a style trailblazer, willing to risk different trends both offstage and on.

"I love ripped jeans with a leather jacket. I’ve never been a huge exerciser, but now I’ve gotten so into yoga the last year and a half and I’m so proud of my body, so I like to show off things that accentuate it," she explained in an interview with Billboard last year. "I’m also very petite and short (5’1”), so I like to wear things that elongate my figure. High-waisted pants and crop tops, that’s my go-to for stage wear. But I keep it pretty simple if I’m going out."

One of our favorite looks on the star? Her metallic cutout dress she donned while attending the 2018 GRAMMY Awards. Designed by Julien Macdonald, the daring gown was one of her more scandalous red carpet looks to-date, but definitely shot Morris onto our fashion radar.
