The 2010s saw tons of A-list celebrities curate fragrances of their own that their respective fan bases made into some of the most successful yet. From Beyoncé's inaugural fragrance making upwards of $400 million to Justin Bieber's grossing $3 million just three weeks after its launch, these celebs prove that there is still a massive demand for celeb "smell-goods."

Dubbed one of the top-grossing celebrity fragrances of all time by several outlets, the Houston native's inaugural fragrance Beyoncé Heat made a staggering $400 million between 2010 and 2013 alone, with the demand for the perfume and the "Heat" line's later releases only increasing with time. With notes of vanilla-orchid, magnolia and peach, this fragrance gave each BeyHive member the opportunity to smell like the megastar.

There has been an entire online hunt for Rihanna's signature personal fragrance in late 2019 after several of her fans and admirers gushed about how amazing she smells. While that mystery is yet to be solved, one thing's for certain: the 2011-released fragrance Reb'l Fleur has been a constant win for the Bajan goddess. The sultry fragrance boasts combinations of plum, peach, violet and hibiscus for the perfect tropical touch of elegance.

Shop: KKW Fragrance Diamond Trio, Kim, Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian, $99.99

Kim Kardashian released her self-titled fragrance in 2009 to relatively positive reviews. However, it wasn't until her 2019 fragrance collaboration with her sisters Khloé and Kourtney that the world took notice of her prowess in the celebrity perfume market. Simply called Diamonds, the cleverly promoted set features a different color "diamond" for each sister — white for Kim, yellow for Kourtney and pink for Khloé. Featuring its own respective notes and tones, each fragrance sought to attract shoppers with varying preferences and attractions, much like those who claim to have a "favorite Kardashian." Clever, right?

Shop: Stash, Sarah Jessica Parker, $55

Stash by Sarah Jessica Parker

The original fashionista herself, Sarah Jessica Parker, released Stash in 2016, marking one of her most popular and widely celebrated fragrances to date. As reflected in the bottle's gender-neutral design, the scent is considered to be unisex, combining woody and peppery notes — usually found in colognes — and clean fruity and floral notes — commonly found in perfumes. SJP delivered the best of both worlds with this one.

Shop: Lady GaGa Fame, Lady GaGa, $60

In true Lady GaGa fashion, the avant-garde pop star joined the celebrity fragrance club in 2012 with her much-discussed and extremely original release, Lady GaGa Fame — but with a twist. Currently standing as her first and only fragrance release, the spray was raved about mostly for its outer aesthetics — the liquid sprays black but dries clear. The complex scent features a mix of honey and apricot with dark florals and incense.

Shop: Killer Queen, Katy Perry, $21.63

Katy Perry first entered the fragrance market in 2010 with the release of her cat-themed perfume, Purr. That following year, she released her second, continuing along with the feline theme with the name Meow! Both scents were mild and juvenile in scent and left a lot to be desired, according to Harpers Bazaar's review. It wasn't until the "Roar" singer flipped the script with her 2013 fragrance release, Killer Queen, that she had a real horse in the race — a "Dark Horse" if you will. Featuring spicy, chocolate-y notes with a kick of berry, jasminum sambac and patchouli, this was a far and seemingly welcomed departure from her younger-targeted releases.

Shop: Minajesty, Nicki Minaj, $29.24

Nicki Minaj's sophomore fragrance release, Minajesty, launched in 2013, garnering tons more buzz than her first, Pink Friday — and for good reason. Minajesty, a fun, fruity and floral fragrance, coincided with the bubbly themes of her music at the time and features notes of red berry, lemon and peach.

At the height of her then-burgeoning popularity in 2015, Ariana Grande released her first fragrance, Ari, which, to this day, remains one of the most commercially successful of her seven fragrance releases. The sweet and fruity scent features notes of marshmallow, raspberry, grapefruit, vanilla-orchid, rose and pear. Collectively, all of her perfume releases grossed over $150 million by 2017.

Shop: Jay-Z Gold, Jay-Z, $37.41

Jay-Z followed in his wife Beyoncé's footsteps in 2013, releasing his first and only men's fragrance, Gold, on Black Friday (Nov. 29). The cologne features top notes of grapefruit, violet leaf, pink pepper, cypress and base notes of amber, teakwood and vanilla. While the fragrance received positive reviews from shoppers, the behind-the-scenes dealings were not the most flattering, with its parent company, Parlux, suing the rapper for allegedly failing to promote the cologne back in 2016.

Shop: Someday by Justin Bieber, Justin Bieber, $14.99

Unlike Jay, Justin Bieber launched his debut fragrance in 2011 for his legions of female fans. Coinciding with the popularity of his breakout hit "Baby," the perfume quickly became a best-seller, grossing $3 million after just three weeks on the market. The fragrance features main notes of mandarin, jasmine and floral essences.
