Kate Beckinsale has proven time and time again that she's a red carpet wild card.

The British actress has long been a fashion favorite of ours, whether it's sitting front row at Fashion Week, walking the red carpet for a Hollywood award show or testing the waters at the Met Gala.

And while Beckinsale is known to favor sophisticated haute couture gowns for A-list red carpets (remember that Zuhair Murad dress at the 2017 Oscars?!), the 45-year-old star knows how to heat things up, whether it be in a leggy-mini dress, a high fashion cape dress or, like at the 2018 GQ Awards, a risque, asymmetrical creation.

Beckinsale first shot to stardom (and on our style radar) with her breakout performance in "Pearl Harbor" back in 2001. Although it hasn't been so effortless for the starlet -- with baggy jeans, oversized suits and horse-printed dresses initially making up her red carpet uniform -- the mom-of-one soon cemented herself as a sartorial favorite.
