Melania Trump wears $7,700 Valentino coat to meet royals at Buckingham Palace
The Trumps have arrived in London!
President Trump kicked off his two-day visit across the pond on Tuesday with a visit to Clarence House, where he and Melania joined Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla for tea. The president and the first lady are in town to meet with NATO leaders, and will later join other members of the royal family at a reception hosted by Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace tonight.
Trump dressed with a blue tie for the occasion, but it was Melania's school bus yellow cape coat by Valentino stole the show. She paired the bright coat, which retails for $7,700, with violet "So Kate" stilettos from Christian Louboutin and her go-to blowout.
While many Twitter users were quick to comment on the color of the coat, with one even comparing it to Big Bird from "Sesame Street," other fans of FLOTUS called the bold choice "stunning."
What the hell is she wearing?

The first couple later left Clarence House to meet with the queen and other dignitaries at Buckingham Palace to mark the 70th anniversary of the NATO alliance.
Melania and President Trump had previously joined Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla for tea during their last visit to London six months ago, where the biggest moment of the meeting was "cheeky" wink from the duchess.
