Trader Joe's isn't unique in that when a product doesn't sell, they pull it and replace it with a new one that will. But, the rate at which they launch new foods, beverages and other products (sometimes three times per week!) and under their own private label is unparalleled.
So far in 2019, Trader Joe's has debuted 117 food items! New to the shelves is everything from salad dressings and frozen veggie mixes to sweet treats and crispy snacks. In October alone they launched 14 items, including standouts like candy corn popcorn, pumpkin bisque, a leafy greens with butternut squad salad kit, maple streusel bread and chili onion crunch sauce.
Trade Joe's describes this jam best: "It’s made with Maine and Washington apples, New England apple cider, and spices including cinnamon, allspice, cardamom, cloves, coriander, ginger, and mace. It’s sweet and tart, superbly spiced, thick and spreadable, with chunks of apples in every jar."
"Soft, savory, and cheesy with a nice hint of peppery spice, this Pimento Cheese Dip is made in the traditional style, with thick shreds of extra sharp Cheddar and perfectly-sized chunks of roasted pimento peppers all mixed together with mayo and a mélange of spices including salt, pepper and onion powder."
"Trader Joe’s Chicken Chilaquiles Rojo boasts a pleasantly acidic, tomato-based chili sauce, seasoned with fragrant cumin and tangy lime. Green and red chiles offer a flavorful kick of heat that shines alongside chunks of grilled, white meat chicken pieces and tender pinto beans."
"Made for us by a baker in Brooklyn, New York that specializes in kosher-certified pita breads, these Organic Pita Chips offer all the same satisfying crunch and utilitarian dipping power of our regular pita chips, while using all organic ingredients. With a nice, snappy bite, mild, bready taste, and just a hint of sea salt, they’re practically tailor-made for serving with any dip, salsa, or Mediterranean dish you can imagine."
These are called "yogurt alternatives" because they contain absolutely no dairy, but that's the only difference between them and the real stuff. Trader Joe's supplier even adds live and active probiotics, just like yogurt.
Think of your favorite ranch dip, but make it vegan. This one is made with a coconut cream base that's seasoned with garlic, shallots, chives and dill. Thanks to the cream, it's thicker than dressing and more like a real dip for veggies, chips, pretzels and whatever else you can think of.
This salad has it all. It gets its crunch from the added sesame sticks and cahews, but also includes bok choy, savoy cabbage, red cabbage, carrots and nori seaweed flakes. Drizzle it with the included sesame ginger vinaigrette and top with fresh clementine slices for a sweet lunch or dinner.
Find this new 4-pack of blueberry muffins in the bakery aisle. There's nothing crazy about them that makes them different from other muffins, except that they're made by America's favorite grocery store.
These fermented beverages come with all the good stuff to promote better gut health. They're slightly tangy and bubbly, combining one ounce of vinegar with seltzer water in two amazing flavors: Cucumber & Mint and Strawberry & Basil.
This limited-edition seasonal fruit spread combines the flavors or strawberries and roses. Spread it on a soft baguette, between crackers or add it to a cheese plate (but do it soon, because this one is only around for a bit).
It's hard to describe exactly what these cookies are, so we'll let Trader Joe's give you the rundown. The grocery chain said that they "taste a bit like a cross between an actual crêpe and a homemade warm-vanilla waffle cone, and that eat a bit like a croissant." Count us in!
If you think these look familiar, you're not wrong. Trader Joe's just recently gave their classic mac and cheese bites a little makeover by adding more cheese and making the breading a little thinner and crispier.
May we introduce the breakfast popsicle? This one is made with Greek yogurt, strawberry purée and Trader Joe's Just the Clusters Vanilla Almond Granola. Get it quick though—it's only available through the end of summer 2019.
You've heard of potato chips but now there are patio chips, aka a mix of chip flavors that are inspired by back-yard barbecues. In the bag you'll find four distinct chip flavors—Sea Salt & Vinegar, Delicious Dill, Homestyle Ketchup and Smokin’ Sweet BBQ—all mixed together. Unfortunately, however, these are limited-edition and only available whiles supplies last.
Think of the brunch cocktail, but in dip form. According to Trader Joe's,"this tomato base is buoyed by sour pickling brine and nose-tingling horseradish, along with red jalapeño peppers and green chile peppers for heat."
If you're not so great about fulfilling your serving of fruits and veggies each day, you should pick up one of these. Each bottle contains one cucumber, two stalks of celery, a quarter of a grapefruit, a quarter of a head of lettuce, one kale leaf, four spinach leaves, six sprigs of parsley, a teaspoon of mint tea, and a dash of lemon.
Trader Joe's is bringing back mochi under its private label, and the first flavor in its lineup is green tea. According to Trader Joe's, it's made with real green tea leaf powder and colored with turmeric extract and spirulina.
Call it a miracle! These cookies have a soft and chewy texture that lasts for weeks, but are made without all those yucky preservatives. Plus, they're super, duper peanut-y, made with peanut butter, peanut oil and dry roasted peanuts.
Sold for a limited time while supplies last, the Honey Pale Ale Mustard starts with a base of honey mustard that's combined with craft pale ale from an independent brewery in Northern California for a hoppy, earthy taste.
It's like your favorite bread, but made crispy and crunchy. Trader Joe's makes these by baking bread, slicing it thinly and baking it again. Eat it like a cracker with cheese and fruit or chow down like it's a crispy cookie.
These cookies (pronounced like "benny") are made from a wheat flour cookie batter and benne (a variety of sesame seeds). They're baked crispy and have a candy-like texture that's nutty, maple-y and oh, so good.
These chips draw inspiration from classic Jamaican cooking and coat plantain chips in jerk seasoning, which is a mix of allspice, garlic powder, cinnamon, coriander, nutmeg and ginger extract. One chip is not necessarily spicy on its own, but with each bite the spice builds.
Don't worry—this cake is made with quinoa flour, so you won't be getting any crunchy quinoa bits when you take a bite. And that first bite will be memorable, especially with the extra packet of chocolate fudge sauce that's included.
This pizza crust is gluten-free and vegan — unlike other vegetable-based crusts on the market, it doesn't use cheese or eggs to bind the ingredients together. Trader Joe's recommends adding classic tomato and mozzarella as a topping, or playing on broccoli cheddar soup flavors by topping the crust with TJ's Mushroom Alfredo Sauce, cheddar cheese and chopped broccoli florets.

According to a Trader Joe's announcement, "Ripe mangoes and green mangoes are fermented then simmered with garlic, salt, turmeric, paprika, and a host of Indian spices. The finished product has a deep-yellow color with a thick, very smooth texture; the flavor is savory and complex, with some considerable heat."
All you need is beer, butter and this mix to make a hearty loaf of bread. You can top it with cheese and jalapeños or give it your own unique twist! This is a limited-edition, seasonal product so if you see it, get it ASAP.

Jackfruit has a tender, meaty texture, but you can serve these like crab cakes with eggs, salad or just a little bit of lemon and remoulade.

One of our favorite frozen foods to launch this year was the Outside-In Stuffed Gnocchi, which takes classic potato gnocchi and packs it with tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese, like a little pasta pouch. TJ's recommends you toss them in olive oil and Parmesan, but no judgement if you douse them in more sauce and mozz.
Another one to try is the Cinnamon Croissant Loaf. This buttery, airy, flaky bread can be eaten on its own with a smear of butter or made into a decadent French toast breakfast dish.
