Kate Middleton dazzles in green Jenny Packham gown for Pakistan reception

Gorgeous in green!

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge closed out their first day of the royal tour of Pakistan with a reception held by Pakistan's British High Commissioner, Thomas Drew, at the National Monument in Islamabad. The couple, dressed in their evening-wear best, arrived at the venue in a traditionally painted rickshaw.

While the duke opted for a traditional green sherwani by Pakistani designer Naushemian, the duchess paid tribute to the Pakistani state flag in a deep emerald gown by one of her go-to designers Jenny Packham. She paired the look with a pair of silver heels, believed to be designed by Jimmy Choo, and earrings that were sourced from Pakistan.

The duchess has only been in Pakistan for one day, but she's already stepped out in a few looks that seem to have channeled her late mother-in-law Princess Diana. Her arrival Catherine Walker shalwar kameez was a modern twist on the ensemble Diana wore to Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital in 1997.

The mom-of-three again stepped out in a look reminiscent of Diana's, wearing a mint green Catherine Walker dress that she paired over cream pants, to visit Prime Minister Imran Khan, a longtime friend of Princess Diana and was said to be a big supporter of her relationship with Pakistani heart surgeon Dr. Hasnat Khan.
