Prince George, Princess Charlotte surprise fans at soccer match

It was a family packed weekend for the Cambridge family, who stepped out on Saturday afternoon to attend a soccer match held between Norwich City and Aston Villa. Kate Middleton and Prince William were spotted in the stands of the stadium alongside their two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

The 6-year-old prince has been said to be following in his father Prince William's footsteps and is especially fond of the sport; He was even photographed in a soccer jersey for his most recent birthday portraits.

Saturday's outing was no exception. The young royal was spotted excitedly cheering on his team and later went viral for his reaction to a Villa goal.

Princess Charlotte sat on mom Duchess Kate's lap throughout the game, who could be seen pointing out the rules and key players to her young daughter. Also joining the Cambridges was close friend and Charlotte's godmother Sophie Carter, who included the eldest Cambridge kids in her wedding and even gave her newborn daughter the middle name "Charlotte."
