Zoo Babies: Meet the new lemur baby at the Philadelphia Zoo

Welcome to AOL Lifestyle's Zoo Babies, which profiles the newest and most adorable additions to zoos across America. From a baby sloth named Wookiee to a rambunctious baby tiger named Carlie, these zoo babies will fulfill your daily dose of cuteness.

Today we're welcoming the newest addition to the Philadelphia Zoo, a baby mongoose lemur! Born on June 7th, the baby was born during an evening event held at the zoo and was witnessed by many spectators.

It's been nearly four months since the baby was born, but it still hasn't been named!

"The baby doesn't have a name yet because we don't know if it's a boy or a girl," explained Michael Stern, curator of the zoo's primates and small mammals, to AOL Lifestyle. "Mongoose lemurs are born the same color, but the boys turn one color when they start to mature and the girls turn another color."

Given the coloring of the baby, Stern and the zoo staff think it's a girl.
