Celebrities brought their best and boldest looks to the 2019 Emmy Awards on Sunday, Sept. 22. There was one fashion trend, however, that seemed to dominate the purple carpet: red and pink color-blocking.

"This Is Us" costars Mandy Moore and Susan Kelechi Watson twinned in red gowns with pink silk sleeves, while stars Taraji P. Henson of "Empire" and Marisa Tomei dazzled in dresses of the same color palette.

Taylor Swift donned the look at the Grammy's in 2016, opting for a bright orange sleeveless crop top paired with a full hot pink skirt while picking up the Album of the Year award for "1989."
