Jennifer Lopez's complete style transformation

Jennifer Lopez has long been a red carpet icon since she stepped into the Hollywood limelight with the 1997 Selena biopic. Since then, the Bronx-born J.Lo's career has flourished from the big screen to the stage, with her headlining worldwide tours and fashion lines -- and her style has evolved with it, every single step of the way.

What began as a wardrobe full of tight crop tops, bandanas and oversized belts for Lopez evolved to include glamorous designer ball gowns, metallic mini dresses and chic jumpsuits. The green Versace gown, complete with a belly-deep plunge, that she sported at the 2000 Grammys remains every bit iconic to this day, but we can't help but kvell over her more recent ensembles.

At the 2015 Met Gala, J.Lo again opted for Versace, this time a dress made of sparkling red rubies. The strapless figure-hugging ensemble showed off the star's enviable curves (including her tush!), and continues to be one of the 48-year-old's best looks.
