Meet Stephen Johnson, an extreme minimalist who lives in a pod share, a co-living community, and only owns 11 items including one outfit.

His journey to his minimalist lifestyle was influenced by his childhood. As the son of two real estate agents who bought and renovated houses every year, Johnson realized his potential of a less-is-more lifestyle. "So, it just became part of who I am, constantly thinking about what are the things that I need," he explained to AOL Lifestyle.

He continued, "Then anything that I don't need, I can give away."

"This is very freeing for me," he relayed. "Every single day is choose your own adventure. It's just so much fun, it makes me happier."
