Trader Joe's now has its own version of Sour Patch Kids

If you didn't know, now you know that Sour Patch Kids are just Swedish Fish covered in sour sugar. There, we said it! Well, at least it's a theory, being that they taste eerily similar and they're made in the same factory by the same company. So, it only makes sense that Trader Joe's own brand of the fish-shaped candy, Scandinavian Swimmers, get a sour makeover, too.

Starting today, Trader Joe's is selling Super Sour Scandinavian Swimmers that are basically the originals, but covered in an all-natural sour sugar coating. The new candy comes in four sour and tangy flavors, including red berry (starfish), huckleberry (dolphin), orange (tang fish) and strawberry (clam shell).

Super Sour Scandinavian Swimmers come in a 14-ounce releasable bag (although it will be hard to save some for later) and cost only $2.99.
