NYFW: Pamella Roland debuts decadent line of evening wear

Feathers and sequins and tulle, oh my!

On Tuesday of New York Fashion Week, Pamella DeVos, designer behind Pamella Roland, debuted her Spring/Summer 2020 at Manhattan's Pier 59 Studio.

"Our customer has become the muse for our collections. We continue to listen to her by evolving some of our signature looks with updated silhouettes, embroideries, and fabrications to suit her needs," DeVos told AOL before the show.

The collection of evening wear showcased decadent gowns, mini dresses, jumpsuits and pantsuits. We couldn't take our eyes off the first dress to come down the runway, a light pink feathered mini dress, and a Cinderella-blue off-the-shoulder gown that helped to close out the show.

"Every collection is a continuation of the luxurious aesthetic and level of quality that we are known for. We always try to incorporate bold new colors with classic silhouettes that will always be the core of collection," she added.

In a release, Roland shared more details on what made her new collection different from past iterations: "We incorporated bold and soft colors and textures into new embroidery techniques and silhouettes. Our signature ombre sequins are reimagined adding in dyed pearls, 3D flowers, and hammered sequins."
