NYFW: Romeo Hunte redefines business attire with denim hotpants and live goldfish

On Sunday at Manhattan's Pier 59 Studios, Brooklyn-based designer Romeo Hunte redefined the concept of business attire with statement making de-constructed sets and individual pieces.

Hunte sent models down the runway in everything from denim hotpants to open, printed blazers and of course, a sea of cropped jackets, an area where Hunte is known to excel.

Oversized vests in bright colors, pieces adorned with fringe and loosely tucked button-down shirts embodied the essence of the show -- taking your ordinary business sillohuettes and reimagining them in a way that's modern, unexpected and genderless.

Models accessorized with headscarves, neon earrings and goldfish -- yes, the live ones!

It's not too far of a departure from Hunte's Fall/Winter 2019 show where models were accompanied by puppies and bright garments.
