NYFW: Rebecca Minkoff brings a fresh take to the working woman's wardrobe

Updated

Rebecca Minkoff debuted her Fall 2019 collection on Saturday at New York Fashion Week to the delight of her many fans -- to say that the stage at Manhattan's Pier 59 Studios was packed would be a major understatement.

"Inspired by the modern working woman," Minkoff's latest offering was full of vibrant reds, blues, fuchsias and a healthy dose of animal print. Standout pieces included a bright pink tailored coat and a buffalo plaid jacket that is sure to be on every woman's wish list this fall.

Minkoff's presentation, that was separated into color-coded vignettes, also marked the beginning of her extended size offering in collaboration with the online personal styling service Stitch Fix. The launch will be available in sizes 00-24 and XXS-3X.

In a release, Minkoff shared her thoughts on the more inclusive size range.

“I truly believe that when you look your best, you feel your best and I want every woman to experience that [feeling] when she wears Rebecca Minkoff. Extended sizing has long been relevant, and a priority for the brand, but finding the right partner with the right synergy was equally important – Stitch Fix is the perfect partner for this venture.”
