Extreme Minimalist: This extreme minimalist lives out of his Tesla

Welcome to Extreme Minimalists, which shares the stories of individuals who live on less. Check back every week for a new episode, from a family of three living in a van to a woman who lives with absolutely zero furniture!

From living on the streets of Manhattan to becoming a full-time traveler, people are living out their extreme minimalist dreams in drastically different ways. Just take Nico Nevolo for example, who lives inside his Tesla.

Before living in a car, which he named Lucy, Nevolo had lived in an apartment and a house, but got thinking about alternative ways to live after seeing the van-life movement blow up. "We just need somewhere to sleep," Nevolo said to AOL Lifestyle. "That's all we need. And that's when I decided, well I can do that in a car."

The ride-share driver stores a mattress at the bottom of his car, which he places on top of reclined seats to sleep. The few clothes he does own are stored in the trunk of his car.

"As electric vehicles get more affordable, which they absolutely are, this will become more and more popular," he predicted. "It's cheaper than gasoline and you can power everything with it."

"It's next level van life," he concluded.
