The prettiest looks at the 2019 MTV VMAs

On Monday night, Newark, New Jersey played host for the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards and bought all of our favorite musicians and celebs to the red carpet.

Everyone from Taylor Swift to Shawn Mendes to Miley Cyrus attended this year's award show and, as expected, all eyes were on the bold red carpet outfits. Scroll through the gallery below to see our favorites of the night.

Sequins and glitter were recurring themes of the night with many stars rocking eye-catching looks. Keke Palmer shined in a sparkling yellow gown from Yousef Aljasmi, while Heidi Klum dazzled in a short black sequined dress by Nedo.

Camila Cabello, both a performer and winner last night, wore a flowing white dress from Balmain while Taylor Swift opted with an ornate oversized blazer by Versace.
