Wendy's spicy chicken nuggets are coming back sooner than originally announced

After Chance the Rapper wrangled people on Twitter back in May to petition for Wendy's to bring back its spicy chicken nuggets, the fast food chained listened and agreed to start serving the favorite menu item once again.

Wendy's, who is known for their cheeky messages on Twitter, further announced on June 24 that the spicy nugs would officially come back on Aug. 19, 2019. However, there has been a major update and it seems Wendy's is moving up its launch date.

On Thursday, Aug. 8, Wendy's announced on Twitter through an interesting exchange with itself (you can see the tweets below) that the spicy chicken nuggets would actually be coming back on Monday, Aug. 12.

"Just exactly how excited are you guys for Spicy Chicken nuggets?" Wendy's asked its Twitter followers.

Exactly 2 minutes later, they responded to their own tweet with, "Hey Wendy’s, any chance we can get them sooner?"

And just 1 minute later came the good news: "Ok! Spicy Chicken Nuggets will now be back in all restaurants THIS MONDAY! Get ready."

The new launch date is a whole week earlier than expected and whole week less of living a life without Wendy's spicy chicken nuggets.

Wendy's Twitter account also confirmed that they'll be available in the $4 for 4 deal, in which customers can pick four items and pay only $4. So get your tastebuds ready (and maybe some fries and a glass of water), because this return is going to be hot.
