Seven years ago today.
People trusted him with their babies. I’m pretty sure that’s not true with 46 minus 1. And don’t believe today’s story about him revoking birthright citizenship: he can’t change a constitutional amendment with an executive order. It’s just another lie intended to placate his base before the mid-term election. Rather than repeat this falsehood, news organizations should be calling it a lie.

One of the best things about Obama is his love of his family and children. Photos from his tenure in the White House showcase not only his humor (he seems to be really good at dad jokes!) but his compassion as well. Whether he's letting a child fall asleep on his arms, messing around with "Spiderman" or cuddling a newborn on the campaign trail, his love of babies is contagious.

"Yeah, they love me — partly because my ears are big, and so I look a little like a cartoon character," he said about his love of children to Jerry Seinfeld.

Some of the most popular shots from Obama's presidential years were taken by photographers along the campaign trail. Others were captured by White House photographer Pete Souza, who regularly shares photos of Obama's time to his Instagram. All are equally as heartwarming.
