Easy tailgate dips to snack on before a big game

All good tailgates have one thing in common: a large spread of dips. Beer cheese dip, spinach and artichoke dip, pizza dip and buffalo chicken dip (hello, duh) all make great tailgate dips and should be a staple for your pre-game snacking.

In our opinion, the thicker and cheesier a dip is, the better. You know, the ones that have a bubbly, browned cheese layer at the top (ehem, like this cheesy crab dip). These types go best with sturdier dipping vessels like toasted baguette slices, crispy pita chips and even veggies like celery or carrot sticks.

No matter your preference—whether you prefer to spoon dip onto your chip or just dive right in—these tailgate dip recipes will get the job done. That is, if the job is feeding a crowd of hungry football fans who are ready to see their team win.
