Laura Mercier makes major changes to its iconic tinted moisturizer

Updated

Chanel is known for its perfume. Dior for its mascara. And Laura Mercier for its tinted moisturizer.

The French beauty brand redefined the all-natural beauty look with the launch of its most iconic product in 1996, becoming the "holy grail" for both makeup artists, royals (Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, included!) and customers alike. But as the beauty world is ever-evolving, the brand sought to make major upgrades to its most celebrated creation.

On Tuesday, the Laura Mercier team announced a relaunch of the lauded tinted moisturizer, including some major changes.

The lightweight formula is also SPF 30 and now features a radiance-boosting and hydrating complex of macadamia and kukui seed oils to ensure smooth, hydrating coverage. Furthermore, the addition of Tamarind Seed Extract and a power blend of vitamin C and E helps increase the skin's moisture levels for over 24 hours.

In addition, the beloved product has expanded to include 20 diverse shades for a greater range of skin tones. Customers will be happy to know that the newly upgraded moisturizer is already available online at Sephora for $47. It will also be available at all Laura Mercier retailers beginning September 25th.
