Jessica Mulroney dressed her client in a replica of best friend's Meghan Markle's second wedding gown

The entire world tuned in to watch Meghan Markle marry Prince Harry in a celebrity-studded wedding of the century. While her Givenchy wedding gown got mixed reviews (we thought it was gorgeous!), the royal's second wedding dress for the after-party -- a simple halter-neck silhouette by Stella McCartney -- truly took our breath away.

It seems like the rest of the world fell in love with the dress as much as we did: Duplicates were sold for just $20, as the Stella McCartney team hustled to sell replicas of the exact same gown (Nordstrom is selling a version for a cool $5,200) to get in on the royal wedding hype.

And more than a year-and-a-half later, the Markle effect continues to influence brides around the world. Meghan's best friend and stylist Jessica Mulroney, for example, shared a photo of one of her clients in a nearly-identical gown to the duchess'.

While it's not known if it was Mulroney's decision to dress Meghan in that Stella McCartney look, we can only assume Meghan got the seal of approval from her bridal stylist BFF.

Of course, royal fans were quick to notice just how similar the dress looked to Meghan's original. "This is my fav dress. Meghan’s 2nd wedding dress," wrote one royal fan.

"Looks like Meghan’s evening dress. So 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥and with the aquamarine ring," said another.

Mulroney was reportedly one of the first to meet baby Archie following his birth in May after being spotted in Windsor alongside her youngest child, Ivy. As one of the royal's closest friends (her kids were even included in the bridal party!), Mulroney is expected to be one of the newborn's godmothers.
