Kate Middleton is apparently causing drama with the earrings she wore to Archie's christening...
Master Archie Harrison was christened over the weekend in an intimate private ceremony held at Windsor Castle. The religious milestone was reportedly attended by only 25 people, including the two-month-old's godparents as well as his aunt and uncle, Prince William and Duchess Kate.
The Cambridge's appearance on Saturday, which has followed months of reported feuds between the couple and the Sussexes, has contributed to the royal rumor mill. And while Kate's body language and William's facial expressions seemingly provide evidence of "uncomfortable" familial tensions, asserts a body language expert, Twitter was quick to point out that Kate's choice in accessories may also be adding fuel to the fire.
For her nephew's ceremony, the royal mom-of-three opted for a bright pink Stella McCartney dress, which she paired with red suede Gianvito Rossi pumps and a matching red hatband. Kate complemented the look with the Collingwood pearl and diamond drop earrings, which had previously been owned by Princess Diana.
The late princess wore them for Prince Harry's christening in 1984. However, while many believe it was a sentimental choice by Kate, some die-hard royal fans are stirring up drama -- they assert it was "disrespectful" and that Kate should have let Meghan borrow the earrings instead.
Maybe she did, and Meghan wanted to wear her own. We have no answer...

Because Kate and William pulled off another nasty dig by wearing Diana's earrings and not loaning them to Meghan to wear. They can't get legitimate attention by doing anything great, so they bring down M&H any high school way they can. It will haunt them for life.

In all honesty I think Kate was a tab bit disrespectful and spiteful . she didn't have to come there dress the way she was and sporting PRINCESS Diana earrings. I believe she did that intentionally to upstage Meghan special moment.

Similarly, Meghan Markle opted for her own sentimental jewelry for Archie's big day, wearing the $15,000 Galanterie de Cartier diamond and white gold studs from her wedding last May. She paired the look with a white Dior gown and matching fascinator for the service.
