My Unconventional Life: Meet this bloodsucking vampire couple

"My Unconventional Life" profiles individuals across the country who celebrate their nonconformity and proudly lead unorthodox lives. Check in weekly to learn more about these unique individuals, from a bodybuilding mom to a couple who believes they're real-life vampires.

Meet Logan and Daley South, who are referred to as the King and Queen of the Vampire Court of Austin.

Both Logan and Daley had their vampire awakenings when they were teenagers -- and like what is portrayed in bookes and movies, the Souths don't like sunlight (Logan more than Daley), have pet wolves, and yes, drink blood.

"It tastes irony and salty," Daley explained to AOL Lifestyle. "It's not terrible, but it's not something that I'm like 'oh, delicious.'" The two get their blood from their blood donor, Ilona, who explained that it's a "different kind of experience.

"I can kind of feel a connection to them," she maintained. "But, still a little weird. I definitely kind of have to be in the mood for it."
