Céline Dion has to use a Las Vegas warehouse to store her 10,000 pairs of shoes

Only the best for Céline Dion!

The Canadian singer is known for her love of shoes and has regularly spoken about her obsession during interviews. However, we didn't realize just how deep the problem ran until the 51-year-old starlet made a confession during her episode of James Corden's "Carpool Karaoke" last week.

The television host met Dion on the Las Vegas strip to belt out hits like "It's All Coming Back to Me Now," "Because You Loved Me," and a new, more dramatic version of "Baby Shark," when Corden took the opportunity to grill the singer on her shoe collection.

See more of the star over the years:

"Shoes are a very important part of your life. How many shoes do you think you own?" Corden asked. Shrugging, Dion guessed between 3,000 to 5,000 pairs. However, Corden refuted that he had heard she owned 10,000 (!) pairs.

"Maybe. I didn't want to say it," Dion responded. (She does own 10,000 pairs of shoes, a fact she admitted in 2017 during an interview with WWD.)

“I have a place in Las Vegas...let’s call it a warehouse," Dion explained when asked where she stores her collection. Her house in Florida even reportedly had its own computerized system where she could get access to all of her pairs.

The singer told People in 2017 that fashion helped her following the loss of her husband René a year prior:

“I’ve always loved fashion, from as far back as I can remember. But as everyone knows, I’ve gone through some extremely difficult times in recent years, and I suppose that I’m spreading my wings a little bit more these days and doing so with the help of beautiful clothing and accessories.”

Her look at the 2019 Met Gala, with its heavy headpiece and floor-length fringe, took this bold experimentation with fashion to the next level.
