Dairy Queen is launching summer fun subscription boxes for families
Dairy Queen is getting into the subscription box business, only they won't exactly be delivering their signature frozen treats. Their new "Box of Happy" aims to bring families together for fun summer activities that, don't worry, still involves ice cream.
"Box of Happy," as the subscription is called, features three themed boxes delivered over the course of the summer. The themes include camping, water park and road trip, and each theme brings fun activities for kids.
“Families create and savor sweet memories whenever they visit a DQ store,” Maria Hokanson, Executive Vice President of Marketing at American Dairy Queen Corporation said in a press release.
“'Box of Happy' extends this delightful experience outside of our restaurants, bringing families together over campfires, road trips and more – experiences that shape the season just as much as enjoying soft-serve in the sunshine.”
June's camping-themed box comes with supplies for a faux indoor campfire, a blanket, playing cards, flashlights, a shadow puppet guide and a $10 gift card to Dairy Queen. In fact, each box comes with a $10 gift card.
The three boxes will cost you only $45 in total (or $15 if you subtract the gift cards you'll be receiving) and will be available for a limited time at DQBoxofHappy.com. They're the perfect summer subscription box if family activities centered around Dairy Queen Blizzards sounds like your type of fun.
