The fragrance world is undergoing a shakeup.

Gone are the days when we sneak a spritz of our boyfriend's cologne onto our wrists. Gone are the days when we slither into the department store under the facade we're on a search for our husband's new favorite scent.

Whereas some women are fans of flirty floral perfumes, we're here to say it's okay to want a less feminine, more neutral scent as your personal fragrance. And same with men, who would rather a fruity or cleaner smell over something musky and dark.

And the beauty world agrees: Nowadays, more and more fragrance companies are opting for unisex perfumes to appeal to a wider demographic.
