Kim Kardashian's Met Gala 2019 look was one for the books! The reality TV star-turned-businesswoman-turned-lawyer-in-the-making stunned in a faux-wet look by Thierry Mugler that cinched in her midsection and literally dripped in diamonds. Her husband Kanye West, however, stood out for other reasons.
Kanye, who totes himself as a fashion icon, wore Yeezy work boots, black pants, a white t-shirt and a black zip up jacket with a gold zipper. It's not that his look was bad—this is Kanye, the man who can make holes in t-shirts and bike shorts chic—it's that he didn't really follow the "Camp" theme. Alas, this is Kanye, and we have to let Ye do Ye, you know? And nevertheless, he still looks great.
The most surprising part of Kanye's muted look was that his jacket wasn't an original design or made by his friend Virgil Abloh at Louis Vuitton. According to Vogue, the jacket was by Dickies and currently costs only $42.99.
