Prince William shares details on Princess Charlotte's 'rowdy' birthday party

Updated

Princess Charlotte turns four!

Prince William and Duchess Kate's daughter turned four on May 2nd and while Kensington Palace shared three new photos of the little princess to mark the occasion, that's not the only celebrating the family of five has planned.

According to Daily Mail, Prince William let Julia Donaldson, author of the children's book "The Gruffalo," in on the plans during an investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace.

After chatting with the Duke of Cambridge, who shared that Princess Charlotte is a big fan of "The Gruffalo, Donaldson shared that:

"He said it's his daughter's birthday today and he loves the book. He reads my stories to his children, and he said he was going to have quite a rowdy party – he's got a lot of children (coming).'"

Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge, or Lottie, as her mom calls her, is sure to be well celebrated. We can only wonder what her fourth birthday party will look like. Perhaps some dancing?
