The Trump family at the Met Gala through the years

Vogue's annual Met Gala is one short week away, and we're already wondering which stars are going to show face. This year's theme is 'Camp: Notes on Fashion,' and will be chaired by Anna Wintour, Harry Styles, Lady Gaga, Serena Williams as well as Mr. Michele, the creative director of Gucci.

And while we probably won't see anyone from the Trump family posing on The Met steps this year, it's not stopping us from taking a look back photos of the Trumps from year's past.

The president started attending in 1985, and wife Melania began to join him starting in 2003. The duo consistently made an appearance at the extravagant event every year until 2012. Ivanka Trump has been in attendance every year since 2004 (most years with now-husband, Jared Kushner) -- except for 2011, it seems. In 2016, she even called it one of her "favorite events." The first daughter did not attend in 2017 or 2018.

The Trump family didn't attend last year's Met Gala, but we'd love to see Melania make an appearance at this year's event in a stunning designer creation (like this Chanel show-stopper she wore to her first state dinner).
