Melania Trump stuns in fuchsia to welcome South Korean president to the White House

Pretty in pink!

The Trumps welcomed South Korean president Moon Jae-in and his wife Kim Jung-sook to the White House on Thursday afternoon, marking Trump and Moon's first talk since the failed Hanoi summit. While the two leaders took over the Oval Office to continue their discussion on nuclear diplomacy and the North Korean threat, the first ladies stepped out for tea.

Melania looked to spring for the occasion, opting for a bright fuchsia Louis Vuitton coat dress, which retails for over $3000. The first lady, who turns 49 later this month, accessorized the vivid look with a black belt, black Christian Louboutin stilettos and her usual blowout.

Twitter was quick to respond to her dazzling and "elegant" look.

"Lovely style and high class heels, First Lady Melania!" wrote one FLOTUS fan.

Said another, "Our First Lady is as beautiful and special as a Cherry Blossom." One Twitter fan even compared her to Jackie Kennedy.

While the first lady has been seldom spotted over the past few months, she's been looking to pinks and purples for the times we have seen her. Back in late March, Trump returned to the White House after a weekend in sunny Mar-a-Lago while ushering in one of the season's biggest trends: lilac purples.
