The royals have to abide by many rules, even including what they can and can't eat. One thing they are instructed not to eat is garlic, because garlic breath is real and not-so-cute when your job requires a lot of talking. But Baby Sussex may be even more restricted and not be allowed to eat any animal products.

According to Woman's Day, a source revealed that "Meghan [Markle] wants her baby to be raised a vegan." And as harmless as that seems—feeding a baby a plant-based diet—the queen is reportedly not happy about it.

"It's created tense discussions between Meghan and Harry, who doesn't want to upset his grandmother," the source said. "He's hoping Meghan will settle once the baby comes and he's putting this latest polarizing idea down to heightened emotions while being pregnant."

Prior to becoming a royal, Meghan told Best Health that she tries to stick to a vegan diet, but on weekdays. ”When I’m filming, I’m conscious of what I eat. I try to eat vegan during the week and then have a little bit more flexibility with what I dig into on the weekends,” Meghan said. She went on to say that it's not a diet per se, but more of a lifestyle.

That, and seeing as how she and Prince Harry got engaged after making roast chicken, we can assume she isn't too strict on the vegan eating thing. However, she reportedly loves animals and totally swore off fur, as well as painted Baby Sussex's royal nursery with vegan paint.

Meghan Markle is set to give birth to Baby Sussex in just a matter of weeks, so only time will tell how she and the Duke of Sussex will parent their first baby!
