Duchess Kate stuns in Alexander McQueen rewear at National Portrait Gallery: 'Pure beauty'

After a busy day spent out at a local children's center on Tuesday, the Duchess of Cambridge swapped her trousers in favor of a designer gown for an evening at the National Portrait Gallery in London.

For the red carpet event, which included Kate Moss, Princess Eugenie, and Victoria and David Beckham amongst other high-profile names, Kate opted for a sophisticated floral Alexander McQueen silhouette. The gown, which Kate also wore to the 2017 BAFTAs without sleeves, is the perfect spring-forward dress.

Unsurprisingly, Kate's beauty was the talk of the internet. Royal fans fell in love over photos of Kate's look, which was posted to Twitter by Kensington Palace.

"Oh My GOD pure beauty," tweeted a fan. "Kate doesn't have to do any effort to be a Duchess, she is so natural born for it! Beautiful, classy," said another.

Tuesday's Portrait Gala "will support Inspiring People: Transforming our National Portrait Gallery, a project for the complete renewal of the Gallery that will see a significant refurbishment of the building," shared Kensington Palace. The duchess is a patron of the National Portrait Gala and is an accomplished photographer herself.
