Meghan Markle reportedly told friends the gender of the royal baby

In keeping up with royal tradition, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been tight-lipped about the gender of their baby. However, Meghan Markle's NYC baby shower seems to have stirred up several theories.

A picture of the cookies and decor from the soiree suggested to some that it might be a girl, blue tissue paper wrapped around gifts hinted it could be a boy, and two gifts brought to the party by Amal Clooney made some think she may even be having twins.

Now, Us Weekly has reported that Meghan told guests of her shower on February 20th that she's having a boy!

A source also allegedly told the Daily Mail that "she was talking about it openly."

It's somewhat surprising the duchess let the gender slip or that she even knows what it is. She reportedly told the press at the Endeavor Fund Awards earlier this month that the couple didn't know what they were having. "Yes, we decided to keep it a secret," she said.

Most assumed she meant they weren't going to find out the gender, but she could have meant that they were only keeping it a secret from the general public.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have yet to make a public announcement, but only a couple more months (or even weeks!) until we officially find out.
