Taco Bell is releasing new cheesy Steak Rattlesnake Fries

It's been just over a year since Taco Bell launched its legendary Nacho Fries, and now the chain is giving the side dish enough toppings to make it a main. Starting Thursday, February 28th, Taco Bell will be releasing its new Steak Rattlesnake Fries nationwide for a limited time.

Those who "don't do spicy" should proceed with caution. The fries are made crispy and topped with marinated steak, nacho cheese sauce, creamy jalapeño sauce and spicy jalapeños. They're definitely not for amateurs! Customers can order them a la carte or get them wrapped up in a flour tortilla California burrito-style, both for $2.99.

Taco Bell has been quietly testing new items like the Steak Rattlesnake Fries in select areas over the past couple of years (these were specifically tested in Columbus, Ohio). Nacho Fries, which were reportedly the chain's most successful new menu item launch in history, had been tested out in California.

The point is, these items tend to bounce on and off the menu faster than you can order a Baja Blast to cool down those spicy peppers. So, order and eat up while you can.
