If you're shopping around for lingerie this Valentine's Day or are browsing select Victoria's Secret stores, you may notice something different popping up amongst their classic collections.
Instead, you may notice an edgier -- albeit, classically sexy -- collection peeking out of its lingerie department. The beloved manufacturer has just launched a new collaboration with French designer Lisa Chavy. Her high-end brand LIVY is sure to revolutionize the lingerie industry with its experimental designs and luxury materials.
"I've been working in lingerie since 15 years ago. Victoria's Secret is a lingerie legend in the world. For me, I feel so proud to have my brand with Victoria's Secret," explained Chavy to AOL Lifestyle.
And it's already proven to be monumentally successful -- many of LIVY's pieces are already sold out since its launch on Wednesday.
Chavy's dynamic creations are speaking not just to consumers, but to Victoria's Secret Angels as well.
"We love the French touch that she's bringing to Victoria's Secret," said Angel Sara Sampaio. "It's the kind of lingerie that I like to wear, so it's awesome to have such beautiful, delicate and very sophisticated but elegant and edgy [pieces] at the same time."
From the hardware details to the intricate lacing, the collection is not just expansive, but experimental as well. And it's hard to choose a favorite.
"I have a bunch of favorite pieces," said Sampaio. "But I think one I think is so incredible is the one with a tiger in the back. It's like, tattoo-inspired. And it's just cool to wear with backless tops and it's just a special piece. If you look very closely, you can see all the detail that was put into it."
You can shop the LIVY collection in select Victoria's Secret stores or online here.
