Melania Trump dazzles in bright pink coat to welcome President of Colombia to the White House

Pretty in pink!

Melania Trump and President Trump welcomed the President of Colombia Iván Duque Márquez and first lady Maria Ruiz Sandoval to the White House on Wednesday afternoon. The four posed in front of the White House for pictures, before making their way into the Oval Office for a discussion on border security and the United States' relationship with Colombia, especially during the Venezuelan crisis.

President Trump and President Duque Márquez had planned to meet back in December following the G-20 Summit in Argentina, but canceled the meeting in Bogota due to scheduling conflicts.

It was Melania, however, who stole the show while greeting the first couple. The first lady, who has been staying away from the spotlight in recent months, opted for a bright pink ensemble by Fendi. The designer coat, which features matching pink mink cuffs, is accented by a belt and includes fur buttons. According to Farfetch, the now sold-out coat retailed for $5400.

The first lady accessorized the look with her usual blowout and a pair of nude pumps.
