Kate Middleton dazzles in a pink Gucci gown while at a gala benefitting mental health

Updated

Kate Middleton has had a busy day. This morning she attended a mental health conference (wearing a Dolce & Gabbana tweed ensemble) and tonight she attended a glittering gala in the Gucci gown of our dreams.

While attending the 100 Women in Finance's gala dinner at London's Victoria & Albert Museum (for which she is a patron), the Duchess of Cambridge donned a pink and white Gucci dress. Her raspberry Prada clutch matched the velvet belt around her waist. She further elevated the look with silver sparkly heels by Oscar de la Renta and the same earrings she wore to her sister Pippa's wedding in May 2017.

Proceeds from the gala will go to Mentally Healthy Schools, a program that supports children's mental wellbeing in the classroom by providing online resources to teachers and administrators. The program was launched by Heads Together, a mental health charity created Prince William, Prince Harry and Duchess Kate.

“The first few years of a child’s life are more pivotal for social, physical and emotional development, and for future health and happiness than any single moment in our lifetime," Kate said in her speech at the event.

"The root cause of some of our most challenging experiences in adulthood, such as poor mental and physical health, addiction, homelessness, crime and family breakdown, can so often be traced back to the very earliest years of someone’s life and often over generations," she continued, according to Hello Magazine. "We therefore need to look at the prevention of some of these issues."
