NYFW: Cushnie's Fall/Winter 2019 collection is every cool girl's dream

Is it possible to fall so in love with a collection you want to skip summer and head straight into fall? Yeah, that just happened with Cushnie's latest collection.

The designer closed out the third day of New York Fashion Week on Friday with a line that was so on-brand, but so experimental for the London-born designer. Previously known as Cushnie et Ochs before Michelle Ochs left after a 10-year-run, the company has quickly evolved to become beloved by both Hollywood and first ladies alike (looking at you, Michelle Obama).

And despite the shakeup last winter, it's clear that the brand has maintained their casual cool girl appeal. The designer powerhouse showcased her Fall/Winter collection to a packed house -- and it's clear two major trends will be taking over street style next season: Satin and ruchings.
