NYFW: Brock Collection Fall/Winter 2019

Updated

Purity and sex are the words Kristopher and Laura Brock used to describe their Fall/Winter 2019 collection.

The luxe ready-to-wear label, founded by the married couple, introduced a beautiful collection of provocative suiting merged with elegant elements of ruffled collars, tweeds and statement bows.

It's clear that clothing embodies the romance that the designers themselves share. From metallic infused florals to colonial bustiers tailored for modern day, Brock Collection proves that having class goes a long way. Among the standouts, there was a voluminous shouldered red dress, belted blazers and sheer slips all worthy of the splurge.

"Purity and sex. At first, these two words might seem or sound antipodal, but one without the other makes for something incomplete. Together, and measured, the story sparks to life. This is the calibration of Brock Collection's evolved romance for Fall; clothing that is sewn out of the fundamentally traditional codes of the label's core, but that is also imbued with a new sense of assuredness and sensuality," the show notes read.

The beauty portion, created by Gucci Westman, perfectly celebrated the clothes in a sophisticated and timeless manner -- using her newly launched line of makeup, Westman Atelier -- including products such as the Vital Skin Foundation Stick and the Baby Cheeks Blush Stick.

“This look was inspired by badass women – Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct comes to mind. Skin is beautiful and airy, but made street-ready with a heavily shadowed eye, that’s intense but wearable,” Westman explained.

The Brock Collection brought out a slew of stars to the front row: Madeline Brewer and Angela Sarafyan to name a few. Scroll through all of the celebrities hitting New York Fashion week in the gallery below!
